There have been some tricky parts, but today is pressing each row and then sewing the rows together. Maybe even get the border on tonight? I can hope!
Also, I'm feeling a bit perplexed about how to quilt this one. Ideas?

First idea that comes to mind is quilting only in the big open areas and leaving the smaller ones untouched. Maybe a more simple quilting in the borders.
ReplyDeleteI think definitely SID around all the blocks. What about some kind of motif in the centre of each block? I have some stencils and books if you want to borrow them.
ReplyDeleteMaybe diamonds/cross-hatching in the borders/sashing. It looks great!
